Overview
The hospital pharmacy provides safe, efficient services to inpatients and outpatients. It is staffed by pharmacists with degrees in pharmacy and pharmaceutical technologists with diplomas in pharmacy.
Before a medicine is stocked, it is vetted and approved by the hospital's Medicines and Therapeutics Committee, which oversees how medicines are chosen and used. All medicines and medical supplies are bought from registered suppliers, to protect patients from counterfeit and substandard products.
